Perfect location about 50m from the square in the middle of the old town. Lovely feel to the hotel as you walk in and the rooms were very nice & spacious, with a large bathroom which had a lovely heated floor. Spent a couple of early evenings at the rooftop bar which was lovely (maybe helped by the fab weather we had). Used the spa - nice little pool, sauna and steam room and there was a gym / machines there. Breakfast at the hotel was not pre-booked & seemed quite expensive to have as needed (PLN140 each), but we did have it one day and then decided the have it on the next also as it was so good (and given what we had, good value) - as well as the freshly cooked selection, there were cereals, breads, cheese, meats, fruits, juices & smoothie as well as of course several very nice coffees! Seems the standard is to cook the poached eggs so they are not runny - we asked for runny on day 2 and they arrived to our perfection! The main reason for the visit was to pick up our "Z" parkrun at Zeilony Jar - took a taxi there on Saturday morning (25 mins - PLN80) but got a bus & tram back (40 min ticket) for PLN6 about £1.20 each - there's a very nice bakery near the parkrun!! Walked to the hotel from the main train station (Krakow Glowny, 15-20 mins) with train taking about 15-20 mins (PLN 17, about £3.50 each). We left at 3:00pm on the Monday and took a taxi to the Airport which took 50-60 mins and cost PLN 130, about £26 If you are planning to go to Auschwitz-Birkenau : book your trip very carefully. We booked well in advance with Viator and it was cancelled by them 3 weeks prior, then again with Headout who sub-contracted to At Cracow and it was then cancelled by them 2 days prior. At this stage too late to re-book - we tried several places in Krakow but all were fully booked. Apparently this happens quite regularly with the online tour agents.

There was only one problem, which fortunately did not turn out to be violent or harming to myself and my wife, but on our first evening having only been in the hotel for an hour a situation occurred which frightened my wife and was very worrying for myself.A very drunk or drug fuelled very large man,who did not seem to speak English forced his way into our room very much shocking my wife and concerning myself.I managed to calm him and persuade him to leave our room but I had to accompany him in the lift alone with him down to reception- 6 floors alone with an intoxicated and very large man who could have possibly turned violent or aggressive Fortunately I got down to reception safely and the hotel staff took charge. However I was sat on the balcony of my room a few hours later, from where I could see the lifts, and the same gentleman appeared out of the lift.On this occasion 2 members of staff appeared and escorted him downstairs. My wife and I spent the rest of the night worried and concerned that this gentleman would again try to gain access to our room.

Location is just off the main square, so very easy to find and to base yourself for your visit. IT felt very secure and safe. Breakfast was the best - a huge and vareid buffet of good quality options, with a hot cooked offering as well. The kitchen were very attentive with our requests. The junior staff were excellent, it seemed like they really enjoyed interacting with guests. The spa was a lovely experience and very tastefully done. The gym is clean and well thought out, and my masseur was masterful. Our rooms were both upgraded which was extremely generous and completely blew us away. Everywhere around the hotel smelled really lovely. Little chocolates provided and even a candle for my sister to blow out on her birthday.

The location is fantastic. 67 steps (Yes, I counted) from Rynek Glowny, the central market square. It's literally the perfect location for a city break in Krakow. All locations easily walkable. The building is an event in itself. Unique architecture, with exposed stone, concrete, glass and brick combine to give a simply brilliantly presented building, with the very best quality of materials on show everywhere. The best shower facility of any hotel I've ever stayed in, and with heated floors in the bathroom and easily usable air conditioning, the massive twin room we stayed in was always comfortable. The staff were excellent, very friendly and efficient. Definitely in the top 5 hotels I've ever stayed in.

The location in the center is great, and they offer a shuttle service for a good price. The breakfast was very good, with a huge variety of delicious food. The restaurant in the Hotel, had very good, high quality food. The price for that was obviously higher, but compared to what you get, definitely worth it. Also great was the Spa/gym area with lockers and changing room.
